Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His carrying our sins on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.

We believe all mankind has been created in God’s image, but that all have sinned and are eternally condemned and lost because of sin.

We believe that eternal salvation is the gift of God offered by grace to those who in repentance place their faith in the lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who indwells all believers to convict, enlighten, sanctify gift, empower, and guide them in life and service

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to eternal life with God, and they that are lost to eternal punishment separated from God.

We believe that the Church is composed of persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been made alive by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is head.

We believe that Christ commanded the Church to make disciples of all peoples, by going into all the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Christ commanded.

We believe the term marriage has one meaning: the unity of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union as delineated in Holy Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). Furthermore, we believe that God created humans as male and female and that all conduct with the intent to identify as any gender other than one’s birth gender is immoral, and therefore sin.
