Meet the Board

  • Steve and his wife Janine moved to Central Oregon in 1984. Together they raised two sons and now have two fantastic daughter's in-law and two grandchildren. After a long career in commercial real estate, Steve retired in 2014 in order to commit more time and energy assisting the various non-profit organizations he values including his home church, Foundry Church in Bend. He decided to follow Jesus in 1994 and is determined to serve the best he can.

  • Dana has lived in Central Oregon since 1993 and attends The Gathering @ Madras. Soaking in the grandeur and power of God while hiking in the Cascades and Ochoco Mountains is one of the delights of living equal distance from both mountain ranges.

  • Joy moved to Central Oregon in 2014 to serve at Foundry Church in Bend with her husband, Trevor. She and her husband have 3 grown kids and one grandchild with another on the way. Joy loves camping, hiking and most anything outdoors, especially waterfalls. She grew up going to camp and serving at camp and is excited to see how God is using OCCC for His glory.

  • Brian Carmack serves as Lead Pastor at Eastside Foursquare Church in Prineville, Oregon. He has been on staff at that church for just over 25 years and in the Lead Pastor role for nine years. Brian grew up in Bend, Oregon and loves to hike in the mountains and really loves bringing his church to OCCC to enjoy God’s presence in a beautiful setting in the Ochocos. He and his wife have five biological kids and four adopted kids through foster care. He loves the impact that OCCC is having on the younger generation as they come and meet Jesus in deep and life-changing ways.

  • Dan first heard about OCCC from his wife when Foundry Church had a women’s retreat, she was excited about the opportunity to volunteer there. When it was his turn at the men’s retreat, he also saw the potential of what God could use the facility to further his kingdom.
With his background as an industrial mechanic and electrician he felt he could still be useful in retirement. He has been volunteering for about 7 years.
He is excited to see the camp grow and to see what God  has in store for OCCC in the future.
